MGB GT V8 5.3L Race Car
This car has been transformed over the last few years with a 5.3 litre full race John Eales Engine, Pace dry sump, Jenvey Throttle Body Fuel injection with DTA Engine Management. The front suspension is Hoyle with fully adjustable camber and caster. The rear suspension has also been converted to the Hoyle IRS and carries a Ford diff with a Barra Motorsport Grippa Diff. This was recently refurbished with a new crown wheel and pinion. The gearbox is a T5 with a Quaife close ration gear set.
The car has a huge history file that dates back to the 80’s when the car was first built into a racer. It was campaigned for many years in the MGCC BCV8 championship in it old guise, Purple colour with full race 3.9 engine.
No expense has been spared on the cars development. The only thing now required is a new enthusiastic owner.
