Description
This is the legendary Ex John E Miles Turner Ford Mk2 Modsports VUD 701 in its final phase. Outright winner of the 1964 National Autosport Championship, beating many of the works cars, going on to be developed by its various owner drivers to become a space framed Modsports. Powered always by ultimate Ford engines developed and built by Cosworth, currently running an all steel Ford 1824cc screamer, Quaife Dog box, 5/link Ford axle. The car weighs 485kilos, 0-60 is 2.9s and achieves at Brands Hatch Indy an amazing 46.38 secs on qualifying slicks and high octane fuel. This small lightweight British race car has held numerous lap records by many of its drivers over the years.
A full documented race history from 1963 is available. The car comes with a massive spares package, spare all steel engines, gearboxes, body moulds. It has its original 1963 trailer and a full Luton Lo-Loader Race Car Transporter.
