The History
There are many Lancias that have undergone the "care" of Zagato over the years. One of the most interesting works is represented by the Lancia Fulvia Sport Zagato, daughter of the glorious 60s. At that time, as happened previously with Appia, Flaminia and Flavia, the Chivasso brand entrusted Zagato with the task of creating the Sport variant of the Fulvia. In 1964 the team led by Ercole Spada, head of the design of the Milanese atelier, began to elaborate a series of stylistic proposals to be submitted to the judgment of the Lancia top management. The project chosen as a starting point is updated and refined several times until the following year, when the car makes its public debut in its final form.
Four versions during seven years. In addition to the aesthetic customization, one of the peculiarities of the model is represented by the use of peralluman, an alloy that, unlike duralumin, allows sheet metal molding.
The Fulvia Sport Zagato, powered by the 1.2 Liter 80 HP engine, guarantees respectable performance. The car began to be sold at the usual values for Zagatos. Not long after, a significant change occurs after the presentation of the Sport 1.3, which literally gets sales off the ground. Subsequently, in 1968, in parallel with the evolution of the Coupé, the Sport 1.3 S made its debut, while two years later the second series Lancia Fulvia Sport entered the list. Before finally concluding his career, the model will also be offered in the Sport 1.6 version: only 800 of this one will be made.

This Lancia Fulvia Sport Zagato is in excellent condition, one of the only 800 produced in the history.
In recent times a total conservative restoration was carried out with total repainting of the bodywork and therefore no signs of rust are present on the car. The engine has been completely overhauled and many components replaced or restored to new. The car is supported by a precise and fast gearbox, it still drives today as a current car ready to participate in historic races and rallies. The engine starts without delay and the engine runs full and without loss of power. The seats have been restored to new and are in very good condition, as are the side panels of the doors. The instrumentation is intact, fully functional and perfectly recessed into the light wood dashboard. Nothing was left out to bring the car back to optimal conditions, the exact same attention to detail was applied to both the mechanical components and the bodywork.
The car was finally subjected to a careful and scrupulous check by our mechanics and works perfectly in every single part.
